The NBA regular season has officially come to a close. At the conclusion of the regular season, Bleacher Report’s Andy Bailey released an article outlining every team's final grades for their regular season performance: The Phoenix Suns received a B+.

Bailey went into the Suns midseason struggles that threatened their playoff chances all together just one year removed from holding the top seed in the Western Conference.

However, the article transitions into the turnaround that Phoenix had and the arrival of new owner Mat Ishbia leading to the blockbuster trade of Kevin Durant.

According to Bailey, Phoenix is plus-17.1 per 100 possessions when Durant, Devin Booker and Chris Paul all share the floor together. Bailey adds that if those three players are fully healthy to go along with their deep supporting cast, the Suns will definitely be a major threat to win the title.

Bailey awarded Booker with the most valuable Suns player of the season award. He states that while Durant may have been better statistically, he only played a total of eight games in Phoenix so Booker truly is the team's most valuable player this season. Booker averaged 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists through 53 games.

It was a crazy year for the Suns filled with a ton of highs and lows. The important thing though is that they made the playoffs. With a record of 45-37, Phoenix finished as the four seed in the West slated to play the Los Angeles Clippers in round one.

Despite some hiccups along the way, it was a pretty successful regular season for the Suns overall but as we learned from last year all of that does not matter if they don’t perform in the playoffs.

The pressure will be on Durant, Booker and Paul specifically to showcase their skills and propel Phoenix to their first ever NBA championship.
