The Phoenix Suns have been a trendy topic for basketball fans to discuss, both for their performance on the court and drama away from the arena.

In terms of play, the Suns have lost five games in a row and have struggled against some of the best teams in the league during that stretch. Injuries have continued to plague Phoenix since the opening stretch of games.

Off the court, things such as changes in ownership and Jae Crowder trade rumors continue to make headlines, and will continue to do so until resolutions are found for both.

We've now reached Dec. 15, signaling a plethora of players now available to be traded.

The longer Crowder sits on the bench, the more desperate teams could be come to facilitate a deal - or the more desperate Phoenix could become given the current state of things.

In Bleacher Report's latest article detailing trade targets for each squad, three players made the cut for the Suns:

Kyle Kuzma, John Collins, Eric Gordon Suggested as Trade Targets for Suns

Eric Gordon

"Something doesn't seem quite right with the Suns, and it's not just Devin Booker's nagging hamstring injury. Chris Paul hasn't been himself all season, and the forward spots have two glaring holes with Jae Crowder awaiting his trade out of town and Cam Johnson working his way back from a torn meniscus," said Zach Buckley.

"The Suns can't do much with Paul other than wait and hopes he straightens himself out, but they can attack the trade market to beef up at forward. They've been connected to the Collins sweepstakes, per The Athletic's Shams Charania, and they could get in the bidding for Kuzma, per B/R's Eric Pincus.

"They also have an interest in Gordon, per Pincus, who could help stabilize a reserve perimeter group that has run hot and cold with Cameron Payne and Landry Shamet."

These are all fairly common names in Suns trade rumors, and rightfully so. Each would bring their own dynamic to help make Phoenix better.

Just a few days ago, Charania reported the following on Phoenix helping facilitate a three-team deal that involved a few of those names:

"Multiple league sources said the Suns recently engaged in three-team talks that would have sent Crowder to Milwaukee, four Bucks second-round draft picks along with players to Houston, and Eric Gordon and/or Kenyon Martin Jr. to Phoenix," said Charania.

"The hold up in the potential three-teamer was that the Rockets are coveting one first-round pick for Gordon, and for Martin a very good first-rounder, not a batch of second-rounders, according to sources. The Rockets have had interest in Gordon from several contending teams, sources said, but appear less willing to entertain the topic of Martin."

He also said, "Phoenix has a desire for Collins but does not appear inclined to take on the forward, who is in the second season of a five-year, $125 million pact."
