The Phoenix Suns have a few names in the Hall of Fame.

Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Grant Hill and Jason Kidd are just a few names already representing the organization, and there seems to be a few guys possibly on the way.

Amar'e Stoudemire and Shawn Marion seem to be up next for potential candidates.

As far as active players go, The Athletic's Rob Peterson has the current duo in Phoenix's backcourt as either a lock for the Hall of Fame or potentially on their way.

Active Lock: PG Chris Paul

Chris Paul

Paul was one of nearly 20 players who were listed under the "active locks" section.

Players such as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Klay Thompson were included in this portion of the article.

"OK, people, take a deep breath here. This group has a combined 13 regular season MVPs, 10 Finals MVPs, 12 All-Star Game MVPs, 13 combined scoring titles and 106 All-NBA nods. Throw in 20 Olympic golds, and now we’re just piling on. This group has done many things no other group of future Hall of Famers have done before," said Peterson.

"CP3 is the only player to lead the league in steals per game six times."

Active, in the Mix: SG Devin Booker

Devin Booker

Booker was joined in this category by Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan.

"Booker and Tatum are two of the NBA’s brighter young stars. They each have an NBA Finals appearance and Tatum won the inaugural Eastern Conference finals MVP award. Booker made his first First Team All-NBA last season and has been an All-Star three times. His offensive production has been one of metronomic efficiency as he’s averaged 26.6, 26.6, 25.6 and 26.8 points per game in his last four seasons," said Peterson.

"Tatum, too, has been to three All-Star Games and has made two All-NBA teams, joining Booker on the First Team last season. It’s hard not to see these making plenty more All-NBA teams and appearances deep into the postseason. If they keep doing that, they’re the next generation of Hall of Famers."

Booker obviously has a long road ahead of him, but you've got to like the current trajectory he's put himself on.
