The Phoenix Suns' season is on the line tonight as they are down 3-2 in their second-round series against the Denver Nuggets.

How will things unfold?

How Suns Win Tonight

With the season on the line, Game 6 is obviously a must-win for the Suns.

This game will be played at the Footprint Center where Phoenix has an impressive 4-1 record during playoffs, and 2-0 record against the Nuggets beating them at home in both Games 3 and 4.

While at home, Durant has shined playing his two best games of the series putting up 39 points in Game 3 and 36 points in Game 4.

Going into tonight, Phoenix just has more to play for as opposed to Denver. The Suns' season will end if they are to lose but Denver has the leverage of going back home for a potential Game 7 so expect Phoenix to come out hot and play with aggression right out the gate.

Both Devin Booker and Durant are superstars in every sense, and players of their magnitude tend to rise to the occasion in big games like these. It will be tough for the Nuggets to finish off the Suns so easily especially in front of their home crowd.

How Suns Lose Tonight

Despite being at home for Game 6, Phoenix may have a serious problem. On top of already playing without Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton is also now questionable to play with a rib contusion.

While Ayton has not had the best series, being down two starters will certainly not fare well against a team like the Nuggets. The Suns will be forced to rely on an inexperienced Jock Landale to defend Nikola Joking for virtually the entire game if Ayton is unable to go.

In Game 5, Denver simply looked like the superior team. It was not just Jokic who performed well but the supporting cast came to play including Bruce Brown, Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon along with Jamal Murray.

Phoenix has also never really been able to fully dominate the Nuggets as both their wins this series were by less than 10 points, with little help from their own supporting cast.

During both the regular season and the playoffs, Denver has proven to be a better, more well-rounded team and unfortunately for the Suns, that may be the case tonight in Game 6.
