Suns Reveal Starters vs Warriors

The Phoenix Suns will roll out the following lineup when they host the Golden State Warriors.

The Phoenix Suns will roll out the following starting lineup against the Golden State Warriors tonight:

Devin Booker
Grayson Allen
Eric Gordon
Kevin Durant
Jusuf Nurkic

The Suns are still without Bradley Beal as last week they made the decision to place him out for at least three weeks. He's played in just three regular season games thus far.

Damion Lee is still recovering from meniscus surgery after he suffered a tear during a workout ahead of training camp. Suns coach Frank Vogel said before tonight's game Lee is close to getting off crutches.

Yuta Watanabe will now miss his third consecutive game with what Suns coach Frank Vogel deemed a "deep thigh bruise" last night.

Phoenix's starters has been the same for a handful of games now, and Vogel might have found the recipe for success.

According to Xin Varlock, tonight's starting lineup has a 137.6 offensive rating and 108.0 defensive rating.

"That +29.6 net rating is the best in the NBA among 5-man lineups (minimum 60 minutes played)."

The Suns hope to keep their season-high winning streak alive against Golden State, who appears to be on the opposite end of the momentum spectrum. The Warriors have lost their last six-of-seven heading into tonight while Phoenix has won four straight.

For Golden State, Warriors coach Steve Kerr had previously hoped to have Gary Payton II on the floor tonight before he was previously ruled out with a left foot injury.

Draymond Green is still serving a suspension for his involvement in a "tussle" a few games back against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has two games left before he can return to the team.

Opening tip will be just after 8:00 PM Arizona Time and the game will be shown on ESPN.
