Suns Reveal Starters vs Rockets

Bradley Beal will miss another game tonight as the Phoenix Suns play the Houston Rockets.

PHOENIX -- After a tough loss on Thursday, the Phoenix Suns are looking to rebound tonight against the Houston Rockets in a game that will once again be sans Bradley Beal.

The guard was once again ruled out, this time for the third consecutive game, although there is hope he will be able to return to the court on Sunday.

Jusuf Nurkic was also ruled out prior to tipoff with a sprained ankle, so coach Frank Vogel had the challenge of replacing two of the five usual starters.

Vogel eventually opted for two fairly conventional picks:

Devin Booker

Eric Gordon

Grayson Allen

Kevin Durant

Drew Eubanks

The most positive development over the last two weeks is the resurgence of Eric Gordon after the longtime combo guard spent much of January in a cold spell - Gordon has enjoyed strong performances in four of his last five games played and hopes to continue the momentum tonight against his former team.

Grayson Allen could also see more time with the ball in his hands tonight - and the Suns could possibly use an aggressive night from the guard, as Allen has only crossed 10 shot attempts in two games this month.

Tonight could also mark the debut of Thaddeus Young in a Suns uniform, as the Nurkic absence leaves a spot on the bench rotation for either Young or Bol Bol.

The Suns and Rockets are set to tip off in approximately half an hour.
