Twitter Reacts to Conclusion of Robert Sarver Investigation

Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver was suspended for one year and fined $10 million. Was that enough? The streets of Twitter don't believe so.

On Tuesday, Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver was suspended for one year from both the Suns and Phoenix Mercury's operations, while also being fined $10 million. 

The punishment comes after an ESPN story launched last November dealing with allegations of racism and sexism in the work place. In early June, a former Suns employee came forward to further the narrative. 

Over 300 people were interviewed during a process many never saw ending, as NBA commissioner Adam Silver said back in June the investigation was "nearly complete". 

Three months later, the investigation has finally come to a stop after over 80,000 documents were reportedly reviewed. 

A one year suspension and $10 million fine doesn't seem like enough, in the opinion of social media.

-used the N word multiple times
-sexually harassed his employees
-made it an unworkable environment

and he keeps the team??? in no other job in the world would that be the outcome. fuck the NBA, Adam Silver, and most importantly Robert Sarver

The last sentence on page 1 essentially says “we didn’t find that Robert Sarver was intentionally racist or sexist he might just be dumb”
