Devin Booker Reacts to Return to Action

Devin Booker made his return to the court Tuesday night against the Brooklyn Nets after missing 21 straight games due to a groin injury.
Booker recorded 19 points, four rebounds and six assists in 26 minutes which is not bad for his first game back.
"It's so good, so good."

"I think I got a couple minutes over. I can work with that."
"I've been injured and all I could is shoot free throws. That's why I so disappointed in myself."

To ease Booker back into the swing of things, the team put him on a minute restriction, a good sign for all Suns fans to see Booker ultimately go just a bit over that minute restriction.
“I think I got a couple minutes over. I can work with that,” Booker said.
Before his groin injury, Booker was averaging 27.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists. While Booker should be able to get back to putting up those kinds of numbers, it will take some time.
“I think every game I play will kind of be like that until after the All-Star break,” Booker said on his minutes restriction.
Booker may be the best player on the floor for Phoenix but because of the team's recent success he knows he must not disturb their rhythm and will take a back seat until he is fully healthy.
“Team has it rolling right now so to just assert myself in a way that wasn’t disruptive and just try to keep the flow that they had."
He is right, the Suns have been rolling. Phoenix is currently on a three-game winning streak and sit as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a record of 30-26, a much better position they were in just a couple weeks ago.
Booker won't play in tonight's matchup with the Atlanta Hawks due to groin management, but should be a key piece moving forward.
