Devin Booker Rips Luka Doncic After Falling to Floor in 'The Luka Special'
As a mutual, the series between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns must be nothing short of entertaining. Watching Dallas fall behind 0-2 only to even the series up heading into Game 5 was the best TV the league could have asked for.
As a fan of either team participating, this series has undoubtedly sprouted a hatred for players on the other side.
That could also be said for the players themselves.
After a frustrating Game 5 loss to the Suns, Doncic was seen walking back to the tunnel saying, "everybody acts tough when they up" multiple times on his way to the locker room.
Doncic was likely referencing the incident towards the end of the game where Bismack Biyombo and Marquese Chriss exchanged words in the final seconds before the buzzer sounded.
Phoenix guard Devin Booker, who's had his own complaints about the series, made a slight jab at the acting talents of Doncic when he was fouled hard in the fourth quarter of Game 5.
After staying down on the floor for a few seconds, Booker rolled over to a fan recording and had a few funny words.
Doncic probably didn't find those words funny, however.
Now, the Suns travel to Dallas for a pivotal Game 6 that could see Phoenix head to the Western Conference Finals for a second straight season.
The Mavericks will be very insistent on pushing the series to seven games, and to their credit, each home team has emerged victorious up to this point.
However, teams who have won Game 5 in a 2-2 series have gone on to win the series 82% of the time, odds Phoenix will undoubtedly look to increase come Thursday.
We'll see if either trend buckles, yet Booker may have started a new trend with "The Luka Special" on Tuesday.
