First Look at Kevin Durant in Suns Uniform
PHOENIX -- The time for Kevin Durant is nearly here.
The Phoenix Suns will embark on their final game prior to the All-Star break when the Los Angeles Clippers come to town later tonight.
Winners of their last 5-of-6, the Suns hope to continue their hot form before the short break in action, yet nobody playing on the court will make as much noise as Durant's press conference in just under two hours.
Durant will be unveiled in front of fans at the Footprint Center and will take questions from both fans and media members in what will be his first public words since being traded from Brooklyn to Phoenix.
Durant was ruled out until after the All-Star break with an MCL sprain suffered in early January, yet the Suns hope to gain him back sooner rather than later in hopes of assembling what will be one of the strongest starting lineups in the NBA.
Durant has already been spotted courtside with his teammates, as he was on the bench for Phoenix's win over Sacramento on Tuesday:
Late last evening/early this morning, the Suns unveiled the first few shots of him in a PHX uniform:
The team shop has already began the sale of Durant jerseys, too.
It's an exciting time to be in the Valley after the Super Bowl, Waste Management Open, introduction of Arizona Cardinals HC Jonathan Gannon and Durant's arrival all happened within a week of each other.
For the time being, the window is open for Durant and the rest of the Suns to capitalize on their talent and bring a title home to Phoenix.
