Jae Crowder Shares Hilarious Story on Morning Beach Run
Phoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder has heard just about everything during his decade long tenure in the NBA.
Crowder often plays the enforcer role, which at times can put him in the light of the villain for many opposing teams.
That was broadcasted (literally) during Phoenix's series with New Orleans, when the pro-Pelicans crowd began chanting "f--- Jae Crowder!" in Game 4.
Just like anything worthy of the moment, shirts were promptly made with the chant and were sold with Crowder personally signing each shirt. The Suns actually got their hands on the shirts that Pelicans fans made and flipped it for their own benefit.
It's somewhat been a meme since that Pelicans series, and even though Crowder is no longer on the court for this season, he's still hearing those chants all the way at a beach in Miami.
It's good to see people having fun with the chant, and even better that Crowder has embraced it to a point. Part of what makes sports so great is the relationship between fans and players.
It's apparent this chant might stick with Crowder for future opposing crowds to use. It's also apparent Crowder, more than anything, would embrace those words.
