PHOENIX -- The Los Angeles Lakers released their initial injury report ahead of their home opener against the Phoenix Suns.

PROBABLE: Cam Reddish (right foot soreness)

OUT: Jalen Hood-Schifino (right patella contusion) and Jarred Vanderbilt (left heel bursitis)

As for the Suns, they hope to get Bradley Beal back after he missed their 108-104 opening night win over the Golden State Warriors with a lower back injury. Beal previously missed multiple preseason games with the issue but is hopeful to play on Thursday.

“Yeah, he is just not ready yet, he is trying to loosen up the back and he just isn't ready yet," said Suns head coach Frank Vogel.

“We are hopeful for Thursday but we’ll see.”

Grayson Allen started in Beal's place.

The Lakers hope to reverse course after losing in 119-107 fashion to the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets. Reddish scored seven points while Hood-Schifino and Vanderbilt were inactive.

The Lakers have won the previous two meetings against Phoenix, which stopped a six-game losing streak to the Suns prior to that.

Thursday night's action will be featured on TNT and is scheduled for 7:00 PM Arizona time.

The Lakers are 1.5 point favorites on SI Sportsbook.
