The Phoenix Suns will see Patrick Beverley plenty more in the coming season after being dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Phoenix Suns will continue to be fierce rivals with the Los Angeles Lakers, but late Wednesday the rivalry somehow got even spicier than before.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report a trade that sent Patrick Beverley to Los Angeles.

Suns fans are very familiar with Beverley, as most remember him shoving Phoenix point guard Chris Paul in the back during a blowout loss in Game 6 of the western conference finals:

Beverley was traded to the Utah Jazz over the summer as part of the deal that sent Rudy Gobert to Minnesota. This will be his second stint in Los Angeles, as he previously spent four seasons with the Clippers.

After being denied Kyrie Irving, the Lakers were forced to settle for Beverley, although his addition to the team is a smart move to add defensive prowess to the squad.

The Suns swept the Lakers last season, and if future meetings are anything like their previous run-ins with Beverley, be extra sure to grab some popcorn when they meet again.
