Oddsmakers Believe Suns Could Land Kevin Durant

Should Durant force his way out of Brooklyn, the Suns are the betting favorites to land KD.

The Phoenix Suns are in search of their first championship in franchise history, and one of the league's best players might just be in the mix to help them reach their goal.

Of course, any team would love to have the talents of Kevin Durant, who is highly regarded as one of the best scorers in NBA history. 

Durant, a two-time NBA Finals champion with the Golden State Warriors, has the experience and savvy required to make a push for a title, and could possibly be the missing puzzle piece the Suns need to finally reach the top. 

The only problem? Durant is currently in Brooklyn playing for a Nets team that believes they can still get the job done with Kyrie Irving, Ben Simmons, Blake Griffin and others joining the Slim Reaper. 

The Nets would likely need a massive package back in exchange for Durant, as the Suns would almost certainly have to fork over Deandre Ayton and other key role players to begin the conversation.

That's a recipe a lot of Suns fans aren't willing to try. 

However, when it comes to the sportsbooks, Durant to Phoenix isn't an asinine take. Bovada still has Durant sticking with the Nets (-5000 odds) for next season, yet if he indeed does force his way out of Brooklyn, the Suns have the best odds to land him.

Durant has showed love to Phoenix in the past and has a few connections to the Suns that would make the organization a fit. 

The likelihood of Durant becoming the newest shooter in Phoenix remains slim, just like his stature. However, in the odd scenario where he does become available, oddsmakers believe the Suns are a top destination.
