The Phoenix Suns have been searching far and wide for potential suitors in interest of Jae Crowder in what feels like forever.

The two sides differ on why the split happened, but both Crowder and the organization believe a fresh start is best for all parties involved. Phoenix reportedly shopped the power forward in trade talks over the summer before a mutual absence was agreed upon prior to training camp.

However, the journey might just be coming to an end.

Late Wednesday evening, things first tipped with Jae Crowder's interesting Instagram story, which suggested something is coming in a timely manner.

Then, NBA insider Marc Stein reported the Suns had made progress on a trade for Crowder.

Yahoo!'s Jake Fischer added that the Suns were close to finalizing a three-team deal to move Crowder prior to beating the Golden State Warriors last night.

As of now, nothing has materialized yet.

Crowder, playing in the final year of his deal, has seen numerous teams such as Boston, Miami, Cleveland, Milwaukee and others have reported interest in him.
