Devin Booker's Potential Return Date Revealed
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns have seen shooting guard Devin Booker enter and exit the lineup due to injury already in the 2023-24 season, the latest of which has been a calf strain that's kept him out for multiple games.
NBA insider Shams Charania says Booker is expected to return at some point within the next week with an optimistic timetable being Phoenix's Friday home date against the Los Angeles Lakers.
"I'm told there's optimism Devin Booker will also return to the Suns' lineup potentially as soon as Friday. The Suns have a three-game homestand - Friday against the Lakers, Sunday against the Thunder and then next Wednesday against the Timberwolves," said Charania.
"So finally, all three of the Suns' vaunted big three of Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, Devin Booker seem to be on the cusp of getting on the court together. That's what we've been waiting for, is seeing how this team gels with those three in the lineup."

Booker has played in two games thus far - the season opener against the Golden State Warriors (where he sprained his ankle) and last Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs (where he strained his calf).
Through those two games, Booker averaged 31.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 10.5 assists.
The Suns are currently 4-4 after defeating the Chicago Bulls in the final game of their road trip.
As Charania mentioned, Phoenix is at home against the Lakers on Friday while also hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday and Minnesota Timberwolves next Wednesday.
