Suns Reveal Final Status of Grayson Allen vs Bulls
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns will have the talents of Grayson Allen tonight when they host the Chicago Bulls.
He was initially listed as questionable with knee soreness and was later pushed as a game-time decision with a "hopeful" tag from Suns coach Frank Vogel.
Allen checked out of last night's win against the Indiana Pacers with what appeared to be a lower leg injury. He eventually did return to action.
Allen has played a pivotal role in Phoenix's success this season, fully cementing himself as a starter alongside stars such as Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant.
Allen is currently averaging 13.8 points on 48.6% shooting from deep to go along with 4.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and nearly one steal per night.
He's played well enough to land him in major trade talk as the Feb. 8 deadline approaches, though he says he'd like to stay in Phoenix.
“My name has been in someone’s tweet every year since I’ve been in the league, so I hardly pay any attention to it. Usually it brings a smile to my face because it's funny. I've loved playing here this season, I've loved playing with this team," said Allen last week.
"I don't want to be traded. I'm not worried about it."
The Suns are on a five-game winning streak entering tonight. Opening tip is slated for just past 7:00 PM Arizona time at Footprint Center
