Suns Reveal Starters vs Magic
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns hope to rebound from a tough loss on Friday, and they'll roll out the following starting lineup against the Orlando Magic:
Devin Booker
Bradley Beal
Grayson Allen
Kevin Durant
Drew Eubanks
The Suns initially ruled Beal (nasal fracture) and Nurkic (thumb sprain) as questionable heading into today. Both went out in the second half though Beal eventually returned while Nurkic was sidelined for the rest of the night.
Nurkic was ruled out ahead of game time by Suns coach Frank Vogel, missing just his third game of the season and first due to injury. Eubanks will start in his place.
Beal was cleared for action and will play.
“Probably hardheaded a little bit,” said Beal about returning the game to The Arizona Republic's Duane Rankin.
“I was able to just run up and down. I didn’t feel any concussion like symptoms or anything. I just can’t breathe out of my nose. Blood just keeps coming down, but as long as I can just get up and down, I was cool. I was going to try to fight it out.”
The Suns saw their seven-game winning streak end after blowing a 17-point lead against the Indiana Pacers their last time out, an effort Phoenix hopes to avoid again despite Devin Booker scoring 62 points.
Orlando, meanwhile, have lost their last seven-of-nine entering today. ESPN's Basketball Power Index gives Phoenix a 51% chance to win.
