Suns Reveal Status of Bradley Beal, Eric Gordon vs Rockets
PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns are likely to see the return of Bradley Beal on Saturday when they play host to the Houston Rockets. He is probable.
Beal has been sidelined with a hamstring issue that occurred prior to the All-Star break. He was initially questionable in Thursday's win vs Houston but did not play.
Eric Gordon is questionable with a hamstring issue, carrying the same status as he did on Thursday.
Suns coach Frank Vogel said Gordon and Beal both did work in non-contact areas of practice earlier in the week. Beal played a pick-up game for Friday's practice, an encouraging sign for his ultimate status on Saturday.
Beal's played in just 30 games this season after also dealing with ankle and back ailments that kept him out for all of preseason and most of the early parts of the regular season.
With Beal and Gordon missing action, Royce O'Neale was plugged as a starter for the second time since arriving at the trade deadline.
Nassir Little is doubtful due to a knee injury. He was a late add to last night's injury report and ended up not playing.
The Suns are currently on a two-game winning streak as they approach this weekend. After Houston, they'll be on the second night of a back-to-back when they host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
