Former Phoenix Suns Summer League center Olivier Sarr is signing with the Portland Trail Blazers according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Sarr, who actually spent last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, played for Phoenix in Las Vegas.

Sarr, 23-years-old, signed an Exhibit 10 contract with Portland. The following is an explanation by Fan Nation's Matt Newton on what exactly the deal is:

"An Exhibit 10 contract is a single-season, minimum-salary NBA deal that allows the franchise to convert the contract to a two-way deal as long as that change is made prior to the beginning of the regular season. Contracts like this typically involve a bonus of up to $50,000 if the player is waived by the team," said Newton.

With Phoenix ultimately re-signing Deandre Ayton and Bismack Biyombo (on top of trading for Jock Landale) the Suns were likely never going to offer Sarr a legitimate deal, although he did impress us after his first game in Vegas:

"Sarr was almost added as an unofficial fourth player on this list, as his night may not match the overall production and/or glamor that accompanied the three aforementioned players.

"However, his eight points and ten rebounds was a solid output in the paint. He also sank all four of his free throws on the night.

"His first quarter was quite fun to watch, which involved a solid defensive effort to disrupt an alley-oop before sprinting down the court and faking a pass in transition to earn a bucket that Magic Johnson would be proud of.

"Less than a minute later, Sarr made an emphatic block on the defensive end, which prompted another transition bucket for Phoenix.

"Could Sarr see more of the spotlight on Sunday? The French international player played in 22 games for the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. Sarr only played 13:36 and made two-of-three shots on Friday.

"If he's able to produce more highlight plays as a center, count us on the train."

The Suns utilized both of their two-way spots already for Ish Wainright and Duane Washington.
