Suns Top Ten in NBA Power Rankings Ahead of All-Star Break

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns have found their groove as of late, though a last-second loss to the Golden State Warriors over the weekend erased what would have been a four-game winning streak heading into this week.
Still, the Suns are mostly healthy and their record reflects that. Phoenix enters this Monday 31-22 and are winners of their last 12-of-16 with matchups against the Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons on deck before the 2024 NBA All-Star break.
Here's where the Suns ranked in some early week NBA power rankings:
NBA.com: No. 9 (previously 9)
John Schuhmann: "The Suns remain very good, but not quite elite. They’ve had Bradley Beal, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant in the lineup for 17 of their last 18 games (Booker missed a comfortable win over Utah on Thursday), and are 12-6 in that stretch."
The Ringer: No. 6 (previously 3)
Kevin O'Conner: "With a naked asset cupboard, the Suns did pretty well at the deadline, coming away with Royce O’Neale and David Roddy. O’Neale provides solid spot-up shooting, closeout attacks, and defense. Roddy is a versatile hustler on defense, although he needs to find his jumper, which has abandoned him since he left college. Overall, though, Phoenix managed to make upgrades around its stars on the cheap."
