Suns vs Spurs Injury Report: Wembanyama Out
PHOENIX -- San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama is officially out heading into tonight's matchup with the Phoenix Suns after spraining his left ankle.
Wembanyama added 13 points with five rebounds, four assists and one block in San Antonio's loss to Phoenix on Saturday. His seven shot attempts was the least he's had all season.
Wembanyama is one of two players San Antonio previously ruled out due to injury, the other being Charles Bassey with his torn ACL.
Four Spurs (Jamaree Bouyea, Sidy Cissoko, David Duke Jr. and RaiQuan Gray) are out due to G League duties.
Dominick Barlow is available for San Antonio.
As for the Suns, only Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery) is on their injury report. He is out.
That's good news for a Suns squad that's battled the injury bug all season, as recent names such as Josh Okogie, Eric Gordon and even Devin Booker recently emerged as healthy.
Phoenix has won their last four-of-five heading into today's matchup. Their 42-29 record currently has them as the West's No. 6 seed entering action.
Opening tip tonight will be at 5:00 PM Arizona time. The Suns have a 77.8% chance of winning according to ESPN's basketball power index.
