Suns Workout Two More NBA Draft Prospects
Although the Phoenix Suns don't currently have a pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, that hasn't stopped the organization from hosting workouts for prospects looking to hear their name called on June 23.
Reports surfaced of the Suns hosting two forwards on Sunday in Jaylin Williams and Lester Quinones.
Williams is considered by some to be a stretch four at the next level thanks to his size and athleticism, while Quinones' value rests within his shooting in lack of physical prowess.
Suns Host Arkansas Big Jaylin Williams
NBA Draft Room's Notes on Williams:
"Jaylin Williams is a hard working do-it-all center who has great intangibles and makes winning plays. His impact on the game doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet but he’s a high level prospect who has NBA scouts attention.
"Jaylin thinks the game at a high level and is a really heady defender. He’s solid one on one and also offers great help defense (and draws a ton of charges). He has quick hands and a knack for swiping the ball and is a decent rim protector as well, although he’s a bit undersized by NBA standards."

Suns Host Memphis Guard Lester Quinones
NBA Scouting Live's Notes on Quinones:
"Lester Quinones is a skilled swingman that can shoot and score the basketball. He had a good sophomore season and while he may not [possess] elite physical tools, his strong ability to knock down jump shots could enable him to project into a shooting specialist role in the NBA."
