Nobody plays the villain role quite like Patrick Beverley.

For years, Beverley has adapted and embraced his position as a nuisance on the basketball court, trying his best to get inside opponents heads and throw them off their game.

Yet it was off the court on Monday morning where Beverley made some noise speaking on the Phoenix Suns and point guard Chris Paul, who 12 hours prior were thrashed off the stage of a pivotal Game 7 against the Dallas Mavericks

Paul's performance particularly was shredded by Beverley on ESPN shows such as "Get Up" and "First Take".

After struggling mightily since Game 3, Paul capped the series against Dallas off by scoring just 10 points and four assists in 31 minutes played in what was one of the ugliest Game 7's we've seen.

Here, Beverley says the Suns should have benched Paul rather than Deandre Ayton.

In this video, Beverley calls Paul a "traffic cone" and slanders his defensive abilities.

“You know what you do with cones, in the summer time you got a cone, you make a move. What does the cone do? Nothing. He’s a cone. Everyone knows that, it’s just that y’all don’t want to accept that. Give him the Ben Simmons slander," said Beverley.

“No one is afraid of Phoenix."

Harsh words from Beverley on both Paul and the Suns, yet he's just one of many giving their two cents on the Suns after their Game 7 collapse on Sunday evening.
