PHOENIX -- The Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns have released their initial injury reports ahead of Sunday's action.

With both teams having something to fight for, the Wolves could be without two key starters as Anthony Edwards (illness) and Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) are questionable ahead of Sunday.

Jaylen Clark (Achilles) is out for Minnesota.

Edwards has been mostly healthy as of late and mostly for the season, only missing three games on the entire year. He's averaging 26.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.1 assists per night. Edwards also has averaged 1.3 steals per game.

He's less than a week removed from a 50-point outing.

Towns returned for Minnesota on Friday after missing 18 games due to a meniscus tear in his left knee. He finished with 11 points, five rebounds and eight assists.

Clark is still out indefinitely after rupturing his Achilles last March.

Phoenix needs a win and a New Orleans Pelicans loss to claim the sixth seed in the West - and thus avoiding the play-in tournament.

Minnesota needs a win to stay in the race for the No. 1 seed out West.

Opening tip between the two sides is set for 12:30 PM on Sunday.
