The Oklahoma City Thunder (51-22) knocked off the Phoenix Suns (43-31) on Friday night inside the Paycom Center without their star player. As Shai Gilgeous-Alexander nursed a quad injury, the Thunder rolled over the Suns running their fully healthy Phoenix counterparts out of the gym by 25 points without their MVP candidate.

In the midst of this Friday night drumming, Lu Dort was called for a flopping technical foul in the second quarter. This was the third in-game flopping violation Dort has been called for.

That led to Suns head coach Frank Vogel blowing off steam in his postgame press conference on Friday.

“The league has got to look all the flopping that Lu Dort does cause it's ridiculous how he gets calls,” Vogel said. “If they're going to get calls like that, then you're going to have an advantage. You can't just fall down every time there's contact and get a whistle," The Suns bench boss said following the Suns 128-103 loss on Friday.

This is not the first time the Suns head man has publicly criticized the Thunder. Following Oklahoma City's win in Phoenix on March 4 Vogel said "They fouled the Sh-t out of Kevin Durant all night!"

On Sunday, the league office confirmed that an incorrect flopping call was made on Lu Dort in the second quarter of the Phoenix Suns game on 3/29.  Dort has been called for three in-game flopping violations. Two of the three have been overturned upon review by the league office.

While Vogel stomps and screams about the Thunder who moved to 3-0 against the Suns on Friday, perhaps Phoenix should worry more about escaping the play-in tournament. It is not a good look for Vogel, or the NBA, to call out a player on the opposing team by name and be this wrong.
