Injury Report, Updated Odds (11/16): Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors
The Oklahoma City Thunder is traveling to the Bay Area to take on the Golden State Warriors for two straight games. The Thunder is coming off two straight wins and has won four of its last five games.
On the other hand, the Warriors have lost four straight games after starting the season 6-2. The two teams are heading in separate directions on the season right now. The Warriors will be playing desperate basketball whereas the Thunder will be looking to extend their winning streak and improve its record to 8-4.
The Chase Center is no easy atmosphere to play, and this game could be a close one, as it was when they first matched up in the in-season tournament.
Injury Report:
Thunder:
Ousmane Dieng, OUT (G League)
Keyontae Johnson, OUT (G League)
Warriors:
Stephen Curry, OUT (knee)
Draymond, OUT (suspended)
Obviously, the Warriors are at a huge loss without Curry being healthy. He's every bit of their offense. He's averaging over 30 points per game that the Warriors will have to make up for. Also, they're without Draymond, which will have the Warriors taking a defensive and playmaking hit in this one.
Having Chris Paul certainly helps the Warriors make up for some of their losses. Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins both have a history of playing well against the Thunder, but still, being without Curry is going to be a big hit.
For the Thunder, they remain healthy with their only absences coming to the G League.
Updated Odds:
With the absence of Curry and Green combined with a four-game skid, the Warriors are actually an underdog to the Thunder. With the form that both teams have been playing with lately, it makes sense for the Thunder to be short favorites.
The last time the teams played, though the Thunder was without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, it was a two-point game. It's bound to be a close matchup once again.
