After two straight wins in San Francisco against the Golden State Warriors, the Oklahoma City Thunder's road trip continues. This time, they travel further north to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in the Moda Center.

The Thunder has a 9-4 record and is staring at an opportunity to hit ten wins. They've won four straight games and get a small break after this matchup. This is a prime opportunity to push the win streak to five games before getting a chance for some downtime and to gear back up.

On the other hand, the Trail Blazers have lost six straight games. They're headed in the opposite direction as the Thunder and are in the first real year of their rebuild.

Injury Report:

Thunder:

Keyontae Johnson, OUT (G League)

Ousmane Dieng, OUT (G League)

Jalen Williams, OUT (hip)

Trail Blazers:

Malcolm Brogdon, OUT (hamstring)

Scoot Henderson, OUT (ankle)

Anfernee Simons, OUT (thumb)

Ish Wainright, OUT (knee)

Robert Williams III, OUT (knee)

Justin Minaya, Available (G League)

Kris Murray, Available (G League)

Rayan Rupert, Available (G League)

The Trail Blazers are obviously without some key contributors. For the Thunder, this gives them an even bigger opportunity to capitalize and extend their winning streak. These teams often have plenty to prove, though, and unexpected contributors often step up and make things happen.

The Thunder is also coming off a game just last night, and a hard-fought game that went into overtime at that. Still, the Thunder has the benefit of having plenty of depth along with more talent ready to go than the Trail Blazers.

Updated Odds:

After opening up as 7.5-point favorites, the Thunder are 6.5-point favorites over the Trail Blazers tonight. On a losing streak and dealing with plenty of injuries, the Thunder should be able to take care of business tonight, and the odds reflect that.

Still, Shaedon Sharpe and Deandre Ayton are very capable of putting together big games and that could hurt the Thunder if they don't have energy coming into this one.
