The Oklahoma City Thunder is coming off a statement win over the Minnesota Timberwolves and is now playing the New York Knicks on the second night of a back-to-back.

The Knicks are coming off a big Christmas Day win over the Milwaukee Bucks in Madison Square Garden and now travel to the Paycom Center to take on the Thunder.

Barely holding on to the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference, the Knicks are looking to maintain their firm playoff positioning as the Thunder looks to continue building separation at the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.

With a blowout win over the Timberwolves last night, the Thunder were able to preserve some minutes and energy for this matchup.

Injury Report

Thunder:

Ousmane Dieng, OUT (G League)

Keyontae Johnson, OUT (G League)

Olivier Sarr, Questionable (G League)

Lindy Waters III, Questionable (G League)

Knicks:

Mitchell Robinson, OUT (Ankle)

Jericho Sims, OUT (Ankle)

Jeremy Toppin, OUT (G League)

Charlie Brown Jr., OUT (G League)

Despite playing last night, the only Thunder absences will be because of the G League, as the Oklahoma City Blue played earlier on Wednesday. With no injuries or players needing to rest for small injuries from playing yesterday, the Thunder should be fully good to go on Wednesday night when it comes to key rotational players.

For the Knicks, they're without Mitchell Robinson, who had an injury that will keep him out for some time. His height and rebounding capabilities could have hurt the Thunder pretty well if he was healthy.

Updated Odds

The Thunder opened as a 5.5-point favorite, but the spread has shortened to just 3.5 points, still in favor of the Thunder. On the second night of a back-to-back, it's hard to tell what the Thunder will look like when it comes to shooting and efficiency.

Still, from a defensive standpoint, it's hard to imagine this isn't a good matchup for the Thunder. It'll be interesting to see if they can put together a full 48 minutes against the Knicks, who are coming off a good win themselves.
