After a three-day break, the Oklahoma City Thunder hits the court in the Paycom Center as they host the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.

The Thunder sits atop the Western Conference with a 47-20 record. They’ve won four of their last five games and are seeking their fourth straight victory.

For the Jazz, they’ve lost four of their last five and currently hold a 29-39 record as they’re looking to get back into the win column.

The Thunder is the better, more talented team out of the two, but the Jazz took the last matchup.

Injury Report

Thunder:

Adam Flagler, OUT (G League)

Jazz:

Jordan Clarkson, OUT (Groin)

Darius Bazley, OUT (G League)

Kenneth Lofton Jr., OUT (G League)

Lauri Markkanen, OUT (Quad)

John Collins, Questionable (Facial)

Johnny Juzang, Questionable (G League)

Micah Potter, Questionable (G League)

Jason Preston, Questionable (G League)

The Jazz, with their current record and standings in the Western Conference, aren’t particularly prioritizing winning right now. The injury report on their side of things reflect as such.

For the Thunder, a continued clean injury report with the regular season winding down is a victory. As long as they can keep avoiding injury, shaping up for postseason basketball remains the team’s only focus.

Updated Odds

As mentioned, the Thunder is the much more talented squad of the two. Because of that, they’re a 15.5-point favorite over the Jazz. They won the first two contests before the Jazz won the most recent, so the Thunder is looking to close out the season series with a 3-1 victory.

It’s no shock the Thunder is such a favorite, but they’ve struggled to maintain the top seed in the West. A victory would give them half a game of comfort over the Denver Nuggets, so winning a game they’re clear favorites over is important.
