The Oklahoma City Thunder wraps up its season as they host the Dallas Mavericks in an afternoon battle as they're in the mix for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. They don't control their own destiny, but winning would make things much, much easier for themselves in doing so.

For the Mavericks, this game acts as an extended period of rest. They've locked up the No. 5 seed in the West heading into the final game, handing them absolutely no incentive to go out and compete in this matchup.

In the last game before the Thunder hosts a playoff series, it seems they could cruise to a victory to carry momentum into the postseason.

Injury Report

Thunder:

No injuries to report.

Mavericks:

Luka Doncic, OUT (Ankle)

Kyrie Irving, OUT (Hamstring)

Daniel Gafford, OUT (Elbow)

Dante Exum, OUT (Foot)

Maxi Kleber, OUT (Back)

Derrick Jones Jr., OUT (Shoulder)

Dereck Lively Jr., OUT (Knee)

P.J. Washington, OUT (Ankle)

Greg Brown III, OUT (Personal Reasons)

The Mavericks, like plenty of teams in the league on the final day, are resting virtually their entire rotation. The Thunder isn't one of those teams as they have no one on the injury report, which is good news for Josh Giddey, who missed the team's lost contest.

While these are still NBA players being active, they're not traditionally in the rotation playing a No. 1 seed at full strength. It's hard to imagine the Thunder doesn't cruise to a victory.

Updated Odds

In the afternoon matchup, the Thunder is a 19.5-point favorite. Nearly 20 points. This could very, very well be a snooze fest in Oklahoma City. While it's not a glamorous way to end the regular season, it'll help the Thunder get into the right rhythm before the city hosts a playoff matchup.

Needless to say, the Thunder will more than likely finish the regular season with a 57-25 record.
