Takeaways:
The highly anticipated first regular season action between Chet Holmgren and Victor Wembanyama, two high-potential 7-footers, comes on November 14 in Oklahoma City at the Paycom Center.
The Thunder saw Timberwolves twice in their first three games last season. The matchup was a tall task for the Thunder. It'll be fun to watch how the team handles the two-big-man approach the Timberwolves have, this time having Holmgren, who was out last season.
Also, watching two young, elite players in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Anthony Edwards battle will be fun to watch.
Being in contention year after year, the Warriors are a question mark as to how much focus they'll put into the In-Season Tournament. The Thunder is a young, unproven team that has a chance to further make a statement and arrival this season.
For the Kings -- who made the jump to a top-3 team in the Western Conference last season -- they'll be an intriguing matchup for the Thunder. Both teams are littered with young talent and will play fast, and both will have added motivation to win the In-Season Tournament, which is a taste of winning important games.
Playing in Sacramento may be the biggest challenge for the Thunder, whereas they'll get a shot at revenge against the Timberwolves, where they lost in the Play-In Tournament last season.
