This season has been nothing short of historic for the Oklahoma City Thunder. One that should be appreciated and relished in regardless of what happens in the coming weeks as the NBA Playoffs loom.

The OKC Thunder have put together one of the most impressive regular seasons ever. Sitting at 66-14 with two games to play, the Thunder have a franchise-best win total.

Oklahoma City also has the most double-digit wins in the history of the league and barring something crazy happening in the final two games, the Thunder will have the greatest point differential in NBA history.

To add on, the Thunder have the best ever cross-conference record at 29-1. The next best? a trio of losses to the oppsite conference. A record that should stand for awhile, if not forever, as the only way to one up Oklahoma City would be a perfect run against the other side of the NBA table.

The Thunder have clinched the No. 1 seed in the West and the best record in the NBA with home-court advantage through the NBA Finals should an Oklahoma City run extend that far.

Against the Phoenix Suns, as the Oklahoma City Thunder swept the back-to-back set, the Thunder added another impressive feat to its historic resume.

Oklahoma City captured its 30th road win, the most in club history. The Thunder still has two road games to go before the 2024-25 regular season campaign ends. A trip to Utah and New Orleans, which on paper should be a pair of wins for the Bricktown ballers.

Following the end of the regular season, the Thunder will await its first-round matchup to be sorted out via the NBA Play-in Tournament before Game 1 takes place in the Paycom Center on Sunday, April 20.
