The Oklahoma City Thunder (56-25) are taking on the Dallas Mavericks (50-31) in Game 82 of the season. While the OKC Thunder still see a chance at capturing the top seed in the Western Conference, one of the most impressive feats is accomplished right as the Thunder tip-off against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night.

Chet Holmgren jumped in the center circle against Dwight Powell this marks the 82nd start of the season for Holmgren just the 27th rookie to accomplish such a feat.

After missing the entire 2022-23 NBA season with a Lisfranc Fracture, the Oklahoma City Thunder saw Holmgren return to the lineup and play all 82 games for just the eighth time in Thunder history. Holmgren joins Kevin Durant, Raymond Felton, Jeff Green, James Harden, Eric Maynor, Serge Ibaka and Enes Kanter.

While Holmgren has been doubted his entire career in terms of his durability, especially after the freak accident in August 2022 against LeBron James in a pro-am, Holmgren has proven that narrative to be false by holding up against an NBA schedule in his first go around.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will fight for the top spot in the West before starting their first playoff journey as a young core. The Gonzaga product has helped revolutionize the Thunder's defense en route to their best season since 2013-14.
