The Oklahoma City Thunder have been the best team in basketball this season, owning a 57-12 mark which ties the Thunder's win total from a year ago and is the best record in the league as things currently sit.

This has been through no short of adversity as the OKC Thunder have battled through injuries galore this season that despite the meaningful players to hit the shelf haven't hindered the team from posting wins.

On Wednesday. as the Thunder rattled off win No. 57 over the 76ers, they clinched the NBA's Northwest Division for the second consecutive year and are closing in on icing the No. 1 seed out West for the second straight season.

To clinch a playoff spot and division banner by March 19 is jarring to display the success the Oklahoma City Thunder has had this season.

This is the seventh time the Oklahoma City Thunder have clinched the Northwest Division title, which ranks 2nd in the NBA over the past 15 years. Only outdone by the Miami Heat who have won nine of the last 15 Southeast Division titles.

Up next, Oklahoma City will take on the Charlotte Hornets on Friday inside the Paycom Center as they attempt to continue its run of success against the Eastern Conference to wrap up a two-game home stand.
