Jalen Williams has punctuated his Sophomore season with a superstar level impact on one of the best teams in the NBA. While his efficiency, versatile defense and fourth-quarter takeovers stand out, it is impossible to ignore the passion he plays with.

Williams routinely spills into the crowd screaming, fist-pumping and even barking at the fans after big-time buckets or major defensive plays. The Thunder forward explained his passionate play.

”We have really good fans here and I like being here...It’s always fun to just be able to interact. Sam Presti made a good point to us just talking about how you don’t know what people are going through to be able to get to the games and stuff like that," Williams said.

The benefit is twofold. Not only does it excite a crowd-shifting momentum, but could also make lifelong fans in the process the rising star explained.

“I think anytime you can kinda engage with the fans during the game, I think it kinda leaves everybody with a cool impression of the game. You don’t know whose first game it is or what the circumstances might be for people coming here, so anytime I can interact with fans, I think it’s really fun," The Thunder forward added.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have enjoyed a 27-7 record inside the Paycom Center with a 47-20 record overall placing them as the top seed in the Western Conference.
