OKC Thunder Set New Franchise Best Win Mark

The Oklahoma City Thunder have had a historic season in more ways than one. The club added to it on Thursday, as they pulled away from the Memphis Grizzlies to earn what ended up being a lopsided win with the benches cleared.
This 125-104 win over Memphis marks the Oklahoma City Thunder's 61st win of the season. That is a new club best, brekaing the previous record for best Thunder season set in the 2012-13 campaign where the OKC Thunder 60-22.
To secure 60-plus wins before April arrives is a special feat and the Thunder continued to play an impressive style of basketball.
It was all tied up at the 7:55 mark of the fourth quarter, before the Oklahoma City Thunder went on an avalanche 26-5 run to blow the game out of the water.
The OKC Thunder did it via its defense, collecting a bundle of steals that turned into easy points in transition.
Superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander logged 37 points, six assists and three rebounds in this game. He was joined by three more Thunder-men in double-figures. Jalen Williams posted 20, Isaiah Hartenstein chipped in and 18 point double-double and Cason Wallace added 10 points off the bench.
This just adds to the Thunder's season in a year that Oklahoma City has already locked up the No. 1 seed in the West, the Division, a playoff spot and now a franchise record in wins. The Thunder are also in the driver seat for the top seed in the NBA.
Up next, the Oklahoma City Thunder continue its long home stand with a game against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday, March 29.
