Thunder Release Jack, Barefield, and Edwards
The Oklahoma City Thunder has waived guard Sedrick Barefield and forwards Vincent Edwards and Kadeem Jack.
Barefield (6-2, 190) played three years at Utah after transferring from SMU. At Utah, he appeared in 87 games (55 starts) and recorded averages of thirteen points, two rebounds, and three assists in 28 minutes while shooting 41 percent from the floor.

Edwards (6-8, 225) spent the 2018-19 season under a Two-Way Contract with the Houston Rockets. In his 31 games (30 starts) with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League, the Purdue product averaged 10 points, five rebounds, and two assists in 31 minutes per game.
Jack (6-9, 235) spent the 2018-19 season with the South Bay Lakers of the G League, appearing in nine games (one start) and averaging six points and four rebounds in 19 minutes per game. The Queens, N.Y. native spent four years at Rutgers University, where he appeared in 111 games (66 starts) and averaged nine points and five rebounds in 23 minutes per game.
Opening day rosters must be set by five p.m. on Monday.
