Saturday night's showdown between the Timberwolves and Pacers features injury reports from both teams that include the best player on each team.

Tyrese Haliburton, who has put himself in the conversation as the game's best point guard, could be sidelined after suffering a knee contusion in Indiana's loss to the Washington Wizards on Friday night.

“I'm fine, I'm just banged up a little bit. There was a little wet spot on the floor. I landed on my hip, that's fine, but me and Bilal went knee to knee, so just a little sore right now,” Haliburton said, via Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star.

Pacers coach Rich Carlisle said Haliburton could miss the game in Minneapolis.

Haliburton is averaging 25.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and an NBA-leading 12.0 assists per game. He's also shooting 43.5% from 3-point range.

Meanwhile, Anthony Edwards of the Timberwolves is once again listed as questionable on Minnesota's injury report. Edwards has been dealing with a right hip pointer since falling hard in a late-November game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Saturday's game, which tips off inside Target Center at 7:10 p.m., features Indiana's No. 1 offense against Minnesota's No. 1 defense.
