NBA Players Will Be Allowed to Make Social Justice Statements on Their Jerseys

The NBA is due to resume on July 30th

As the NBA prepares to resume play next month, the league has announced along with the NBPA that they are planning to allow players to replace the last name on their jerseys with a statement on social justice, if they choose. Wanting to give their players a platform to share their thoughts this is part of the league's overall response to the recent protests of racial injustice throughout the country.
