The New York Knicks and Tom Thibodeau are finalizing a five-year deal to make him the franchise’s next head coach. The tough, defensive minded Thibodeau, who previously coached the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves, takes over for interim coach Mike Miller, who replaced the fired David Fizdale in December.
SNY sources confirm that Knicks and Tom Thibodeau are close to reaching a five-year deal for Thibodeau to be the next head coach. First reported by ESPN.
