NBA bubble is working, 3 weeks and no positive COVID-19 cases

Robert says 'if the bubble is the way to play, then that is likely gonna be the way we play next season, if things remains as they are.'

The NBA is set to officially restart its season Thursday in a bubble inside Walt Disney World Resort but is this setup something we should get used to?

NBPA executive director Michele Roberts told ESPN on Tuesday that returning to a bubble might be the only feasible way for the NBA to compete next season, as well.

Roberts said, "If tomorrow looks like today, I don't know how we say we can do it differently,"

It's been 3 weeks since players have been inside the bubble and there have been no positive COVID cases and only two cases when players arrived on campus.

Roberts went on to say, "All I know is what I know now. So it may be that, if the bubble is the way to play, then that is likely gonna be the way we play next season, if things remains as they are."

The NBA Season tips off Thursday at 6:30 pm EST when the New Orleans Pelicans face the Utah Jazz.
