The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off in one of the biggest regular-season games of the season tonight, but LA may have to do it without Anthony Davis.

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially listed Anthony Davis as questionable due to left eye soreness on the injury report. Davis left the Lakers' last game against the Minnesota Timberwolves early due to the injury, only playing 12 minutes.

This season against the Golden State Warriors, Anthony Davis is averaging 21.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks on 51% shooting. His scoring numbers are much lower against the Warriors than they are compared to his regular season average of 24.0 points and 12.3 rebounds. Draymond Green and Kevon Looney have done a great job of defending Davis and forcing other players like D'Angelo Russell to step up more.

Currently, the Warriors have a 2-1 regular season series lead against the Lakers. If Golden State wins tonight, they'll completely take over the tiebreaker and also be only half a game away from the Lakers for the 9th seed. Should the Warriors lose tonight, they may as well consider themselves the 10th seed moving forward. While it's not the end of the world for the Warriors to be the 10th seed, they'll have the most uphill battle to get to the NBA playoffs out of any team in the Western Conference.
