It was revealed by The Athletic's Shams Charania that the Golden State Warriors will be working out Dion Waiters, Tony Snell, Kent Bazemore, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Harry Giles and Trey Burke at their facility over next two weeks. The team has two roster spots available, and will take a look at these free agents as possible candidates.

The Warriors have taken a similar approach to their final roster spots in previous years, and this time around will be bringing in some familiar faces. Both Kent Bazemore and Juan Toscano-Anderson have spent time with the Warriors, and have positive relationships with many of the team's core players.

As a veteran team with championship hopes, the Warriors would prefer to round out their roster with experience over youth. This is somewhat contrary to their roster construction the last two seasons, but the team has made sharp pivot away from their youth movement, and will likely continue to move in this direction.

With Steph Curry still at the peak of his powers, the Warriors recognize the opportunity they have to still compete for championships. Their roster construction last season was simply not good enough, and they are looking to avoid similar mistakes this upcoming year.

The Warriors have had several veteran role players impact their championship teams over the years, and could be looking to add a couple more before the season begins.
