Damian Lillard Reacts to Draymond Green's Suspension for Game 3

Damian Lillard couldn't believe Draymond Green was suspended for Game 3.

In what was an incredibly unexpected turn of the night, Draymond Green was suspended for Game 3 against the Sacramento Kings.

When the day started, Shams Charania reported that it was likely Draymond Green wouldn't get suspended and that he'd only face a fine. Suddenly, in the middle of the LA Clippers facing the Phoenix Suns, it was then revealed that Draymond Green was actually going to get suspended.

An NBA statement about the suspension says: "The suspension was based in part on Green's history of unsportsmanlike acts.”

Needless to say, the suspension set the NBA world on fire, where both fans and players are talking about the decision. One very notable player in particular, Damian Lillard, really didn't agree with the decision.

"A suspension is crazy . 🤷🏽‍♂️"

In all honesty, no one should be truly surprised about Draymond Green getting suspended. He has a massive history of hitting players in the groin, pulling players down on the ground, berating referees, and never showing any remorse for his actions. Even if Domantas Sabonis pulled on Draymond Green's leg, no other player in the NBA is stomping on his chest as a result of it. To make matters worse, Green taunted the crowd and played the role of a WWE villain. He truly did not care.

Simply put, Draymond Green just needs to take better control of his emotions, and not put his team in a situation where they'd miss him in a pivotal Game 3.
