After being listed as questionable for opening night against the Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker told Duane Rankin of azcentral on Tuesday morning that he will be playing in the highly anticipated matchup.

While Booker is good to go, he will likely be without his backcourt parter Bradley Beal, as the star guard its expected to miss this game as the team carefully handles his back injury. Booker will not be alone, though, as his star teammate Kevin Durant will be healthy and available for his first game in front of Warriors fans since his departure in 2019.

The Warriors and Suns have had some great battles over the last few seasons, most notably in 2022 when many predicted they would face off in the Western Conference Finals. A disappointing showing against the Dallas Mavericks saw Phoenix's season end a round before that matchup was set to take place, as the Warriors would go on to defeat Dallas and the Boston Celtics en route to their fourth title in the Steph Curry era.

Now reloaded with Durant and Beal (once he returns), the Suns are as confident as ever that they can win it all. They will have some serious competition in both conferences, but Phoenix has certainly built a roster that can go up against anybody in the NBA.
