Domantas Sabonis Reacts to Draymond Green Stomping on Him

Draymond was ejected from Game 2 of Warriors vs. Kings after stomping on Sabonis

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected on Monday night after stomping on Sacramento Kings big man Domantas Sabonis. Green's stomp came after Sabonis grabbed his leg, which resulted in Green's stomp that got him ejected. Sabonis was interviewed on the court after the game, and was asked about that play with Draymond.

"It's playoff basketball," Sabonis said. "Look at the fans. This is it. We're here to fight. Every time we step on the floor we're going to give everything for our teammates and the franchise."

When asked if there is any animosity after that play, Sabonis said, "No, we're both fighting for the rebound, we fell on each other, stuff happens. It's basketball. We gotta move on, next play."

It will be interesting to see if the NBA reassess any of their initial rulings following that play, as flagrant points and technical fouls are relevant throughout the course of the postseason, not just within individual games. It was certainly a bizarre play, and it resulted in Green's night ending early.

The Kings were able to hold on and get a massive Game 2 victory, and will take a commanding 2-0 lead to San Francisco. The Warriors have struggled on the road all season long, and that has now continued in the postseason, as they have dropped their first two games in Sacramento.
