One thing that separates best NBA players from everyone else, is how impossible they are to defend. There are several great players in the NBA who are tough to stop, but may have an exploitable weakness that limits their ceiling in a playoff setting. This is often what separates those who win titles, and those who cannot. According to Draymond Green, this is one of the ways Steph Curry and Nikola Jokic are similar.

When breaking down the Miami Heat's defensive strategy in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Green highlighted a portion of the game when Miami went zone. It's a common adjustment at the NBA level, and one that can often disrupt the opposition's offensive flow. What's so special about Nikola Jokic, along with Steph Curry, is their ability to counter zone defense with skills that simply nobody else has.

As Green explained, Jokic is able to break down zone defense with his unmatched playmaking ability. If Denver gets Jokic the ball, he's able to see the entire floor better than anybody else, and make a play for himself or others. For Curry, his range and shooting ability is zone-proof, because he can simply pull-up from anywhere. It was a very interesting break down from Green, who said Curry and Jokic are the two best players against a zone.

While the two superstars get it done in different ways, Draymond Green highlighted this similarity between Steph Curry and Nikola Jokic.
