Jusuf Nurkic Reacts to Draymond Green Hitting Him in the Face
Draymond Green shocked the NBA world on Tuesday night when he unexpectedly and violently slapped Jusuf Nurkic in the face. If you were to ask Nurkic himself, he'd be shocked with the moment as well.
After the game, Jusuf Nurkic was asked about the moment, and he showed some legitimate concern for Draymond's mental health.
"What's going on with him," Nurkic questioned. "I don't know. Personally, I feel like that brother needs help. I'm glad he didn't try to choke me. At the same time, it ain't nothing to do with basketball."
Draymond Green had just returned from a five-game suspension after choking Rudy Gobert during an altercation. It's beyond very clear at this point that both the NBA and Adam Silver have enabled Draymond Green for nearly the past decade. Time and time again, he's given the league multiple instances to suspend him for long periods of time, and the league never gives him legitimate consequences. It's definitely starting to feel like those lack of consequences have enabled Green to continuously act out.
The Warriors blew a double-digit lead against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night in a moment that felt like adding insult to injury. As the Warriors continue to mount the losses, they'll likely have to figure out a way to do it without Draymond Green. One should expect a suspension coming to Green for the outburst on Tuesday night.
