After the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the OKC Thunder, the Golden State Warriors needed to beat the Sacramento Kings by at least 12 points in order to advance to the next round of the In-Season Tournament. Once up by 24 points, the Warriors looked well on their way to making that happen, but not only did they let their lead shrink, they lost it entirely.

Collapsing in the final minute of the game, the Warriors fell to the Sacramento Kings to not only end their chances at advancing in the In-Season Tournament, but also add another loss onto what has been a very disappointing start to the season.

Speaking with the NBA on TNT crew after the game, Kings star De'Aaron Fox was asked about the point differential aspect at play in this game, and admitted his team was aware of it, but said they still wanted to win the game even after being down big.

"We wanted to win the game," Fox said. "Obviously this still goes against our regular season record, so we still wanted to win the game."

Fox gave a lot of high praise to his teammate Malik Monk, who hit two incredible shots down the stretch to help secure the win. While Fox was impressed with his teammate, the Kings star said those are shots he has seen Monk make, and has confidence in him taking.
